Dexia and Econcern expect financial closure of Belwind this spring

Following recent media coverage, Dexia and Econcern confirm that they continue to work together, along with Rabobank and other European financial institutions, on the financing of the offshore wind project Bligh Bank (Belwind), planned off the coast of Belgium.

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory released a study this week concluding that the solar industry could use many cheaper and more abundant alternatives to silicon, including iron pyrite — most commonly known as fool’s gold.
